The State Forestry Corps, Command Station Calice Ligure (SV), together with the Municipal Police of Finale Ligure (SV) had gone to Perti Alto, inland from the Final, a case of illegal building. A property achieved by significantly increasing the usable area in contravention, then, had been approved. During the inspection it was noted, however, another excess.
In a warehouse about three feet high and sixty centimeters, completely free of outside light and no air exchange (the only opening was the door), were found 17 birds, including thrushes and blackbirds . The animals were all legally held in small individual cages and provided with irremovable ring. Hygienic conditions were bad. The poor birds were used as decoys for the owner, a hunter with a valid license. After the inspection of Veterinarians ASL 2 of Savona as they proceeded to attach themselves to the alert and the Judicial Authority. The Public Prosecutor of Savona has already authorized the seizure of the property. The animals were assigned to the same hunter, though will have to comply with veterinary requirements.
The same was reported (as well as for breaches of building regulations and protect the beauty natural) for the crime under Article. 727 of the Penal Code for the inappropriate conditions of detention. (GEAPRESS)
